WNBA star Angel Reese had NFL star Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend on her show ‘Unapologetically Angel’. While dating, Nicole and Kelce faced several rumors, including about splitting bills on numerous occasions.

Nicole and Kelce were together from 2017 to 2022 until the two broke up. Following the breakup, rumors emerged about the Kansas City Chiefs tight end making his ex pay for “half of everything.” The rumor spread like wildfire and the football star was labeled as “cheap” by fans.

The content creator took the chance to clear the air about the rumor. Reese released the episode on Oct. 10, where Kayla set the record straight.

“Do I look like I would go 50-50 on bills? So, yeah, that was ridiculous,” Nicole said. “But he addressed that too though. I don’t even know why that became a thing. It was never an issue during our relationship, but it was definitely a rumor on the internet.”

After Kelce dated Nicole, he started to date music icon Taylor Swift. Swift is often seen in attendance when the Chiefs play and she was also present during their previous Super Bowl run.

Angel Reese asked Nicole if she’s willing to have another public relationship

Having a relationship that’s always monitored by the public has never been easy. Nicole had a first-hand experience of what that’s like when she dated Travis Kelce for some time. This led Angel Reese to ask her if she was ready to have another public relationship.

“I don’t see myself doing that anytime soon, no,” Nicole said. “I absolutely don’t. And I just think, ultimately, people can’t pick at what they don’t know about. I would just protect my relationships from here on out. I don’t want to deal with that ever again. And then two, if we break up, I don’t have to deal with what that looks like.”

The Chicago Sky forward also pointed out that Nicole has handled the breakup professionally. On the ‘I Am Athlete Daily’s Instagram account, the content creator was featured making her Monday Night Football picks where she mentioned the Chiefs and Kelce.

“To think that I’m not going to talk about the number one team in the NFL with the best quarterback and the best tight end. That’s going to come with the territory.”

Both Nicole and Kelce have been professional since their breakup. The former even mentioned in the podcast that she’s in a good place with her ex.
