Chicago Sky star forward Angel Reese has been linked to Detroit Pistons center Jalen Duren in recent weeks, and a video of Reese wearing a Pistons hoodie has fans convinced
Chicago Sky’s star player, Angel Reese, has been leaving a trail of hints about her mystery boyfriend, and fans think they’ve cracked the case.
The speculation that Reese, who is enjoying a record-breaking WNBA rookie season, is dating Detroit Pistons center Jalen Duren has intensified after the WNBA All-Star was seen sporting a Pistons hoodie in a recent video. Reese has been dropping hints about her mystery man for some time now.
On July 30th, both she and Duren posted strikingly similar videos on their Instagram stories. In an Instagram live video on August 5th, Reese was seen taming her bedhead hair while someone off-camera asked where she woke up, to which she responded, “Shut up.”
Just days before the hoodie video, Reese commented on a post by former teammate Kysre Gondrezick (who is dating Jaylen Brown), saying, “We love our J’s,” This is a reference to Brown and his Boston Celtics teammate Jayson Tatum, who are often called the two Js.
The video of Reese in the Pistons hoodie seems to be the final piece of the puzzle linking her to Duren. Fans are eagerly awaiting confirmation of the relationship in the coming weeks.
Reese was previously dating Cam’Ron Fletcher, a Florida State basketball player. However, during March Madness earlier this year, she confirmed on Instagram Live she was single.
“Yeah, I’m single,” she told her followers. “I don’t got no man. Don’t attach me to no man. That’s all I’mma say. That’s it.”

Reese is in the midst of a hectic week, juggling her commitments both on and off the court. She officially announced her collaboration with cereal brand “Reece’s Pieces” on Wednesday.
The Chicago Sky also revealed plans for a Barbie Night on August 30, in partnership with Mattel, to celebrate women in sports. Reese, known as the “Bayou Barbie”, pays tribute to her Louisiana roots through this moniker.
The Sky have had a mixed return to action following the WNBA’s Olympic break, currently holding onto the league’s final playoff spot with a 1-2 record.
In Sunday’s game against the Phoenix Mercury, Reese put up an impressive performance with 19 points and 20 rebounds, despite the team’s 86-68 loss. The Sky will continue their playoff push when they face the Connecticut Sun on Friday, August 23.
