BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty was faced with an awkward moment after ‘spoiling’ Saturday Kitchen.
BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty was quick to snap back at a Saturday Kitchen star after an awkward show blunder.
During Saturday’s (January 11) episode of the BBC hit show, Naga was joined by co-star Charlie Stayt as they presented the day’s top stories.
Towards the end of the program, the duo cut to Saturday Kitchen, where Matt Tebbutt was set to give viewers a glimpse of what they can expect from the show.
However, things took an awkward turn as the camera man accidentally used the wrong camera and revealed one of today’s guests. It didn’t go unnoticed, as Naga asked: “What you think, Helen and your guests… Is that Emilia Fox?”
Matt fumed: “Oh don’t give it away. Do you know how this works?” Naga hit back: “Well I do but did your director know how it works because they cut to a three shot.”

She continued: “Your director did cut to a three shot and we did see Emilia, while they were laughing at you and not with you.” Everyone burst out laughing as Matt joked: “Well thank you. Should I even announce that guest now that it’s spoiled?”
Turning to his guest, Matt said: “Our special guest today is the wonderful Emilia Fox. Yeah, thank you what a surprise that was.”
He then asked Emelia: “It’s lovely to have you back. Food heaven, food hell at the end of the show – what is it this time?”
Saturday Kitchen’s Matt said show was ‘spoiled’
Emilia revealed: “My heaven would be something with white fish and ginger and lemon grass or something like that because it’s fresh. Hell would be something heavy like red meat, steak or anything with blue cheese because I’m not a fan of blue cheese.”
Matt went on to explain what will be coming up later on in the show then added: “Well there you go, there is a lot going on.”
Back in the Breakfast studio, Naga joked: “You look like you’re really in control there Matt.” Everyone burst out laughing as Matt replied: “Again that’s another telly insider there. I was holding it together, thank you very much.”
