Travis Kelce‘s friend and WWE superstar Baron Corbin lifted the lid on what Taylor Swift is like behind the scenes.
Corbin and Swift first crossed paths at a Kansas City Chiefs game in December after he got invited by Kelce.
Speaking at the WWE Summerslam media day, Corbin opened up about his experience meeting the 14-time Grammy winner. He also admitted that, given his friendship with Kelce, he did not ask about whether Swift would make an appearance or not.
‘He’s just a friend so you don’t think, ‘Hey, is Taylor going to be there?’ You don’t want to ask or anything like that,’ Corbin said via Us Weekly.
Clear of expectations that the popstar would show up, Swift left quite an impression on Corbin – who was struck by her kindness.

Corbin shared that he was not expecting to see Swift and was blown away by her kindness
‘[She’s] obviously one of the biggest stars on the planet and when you meet her, you’re like, ‘Oh she’s so nice, so down to earth,’ he said. ‘If you lived under a rock and had no idea who Taylor Swift was you would just think she’s an awesome person.’
Swift was ‘welcoming,’ Corbin added. ‘The moment she meets you, she gives you a hug.’ He also said she was there to ‘have a good time and have a drink’ and ‘can hang with the boys.’
‘It’s rare to find someone like that on that level of stardom be so humble and cool that you would never know,’ he continued.
‘Other than the fact that you’re like, ‘Oh, she obviously is important, does something,’ if you had no idea, but you’re like, ‘She’s so nice.’
Corbin has been friends with Kelce and got invited to the suite when he met Swift
Swift has been a regular presence at Kansas City Chiefs games since dating Kelce
Kelce previously shared his admiration for Swift’s humility despite her stardom
In June, the three-time Super Bowl champion raved about how Swift interacted with his family and friends, noting that she is ‘very self-aware’ on an episode of the Bussin’ With the Boys podcast.
‘She understands situations like that. I think that’s why I started to really fall for her, was how genuine she is around friends, family,’ Kelce shared.
‘It can get crazy for somebody with that much attention, and she just keeps it so chill and so cool. And that’s what I can admire for sure.’
