However, the All-Star recorded two rookie records in a losing effort vs. the Phoenix Mercury.
The veteran-led Mercury won 85-65, led by gold medalist Kahleah Copper’s 29 points.
Reese recorded her 18th double-double of the season during the blowout with 11 points and 15 rebounds.
Reese found herself in historic company as she passed former Sacramento Monarchs star Yolanda Griffith and Los Angeles Sparks legend Candace Parker (tied at 17) for the second-most double-doubles by a rookie in WNBA history.
Not only is the amount of rebounds accumulated impressive, but Reese achieved the feat in historically quick fashion. Reese picked up her 300th rebound of the season.
The Sky rookie became the first player WNBA history to secure 300 or more rebounds in their first 25 games.
