While many athletes have been critical of the Olympic Village in Paris in recent days, some also have positive things to say.

A member of the American rugby team, young Ariane Ramsey made a big confession on Instagram.

As we know, not all American athletes live in the Olympic Village.

The basketball players of Team USA, for example, chose to stay in a five-star hotel because they were not playing the group stages in Paris, but also to obtain better comfort.

While this offends some observers like Nelson Monfort, cardboard beds are not particularly popular with athletes.

More generally, we can say that the latter have a lot to say about the treatment they receive in the Olympic Village.

Simone Biles, for example, did not hesitate to point the finger at the food there… but not everything is to be thrown away either according to Ariana Ramsey, who represents the United States in women’s rugby.

The latter was thus impressed by the medical care of the athletes:

Not only do we get free food in the Olympic Village, but we also get free dental care, free medical care.

It’s common knowledge that the American medical system is considered catastrophic, relying on private organizations and therefore often being far too expensive for the country’s inhabitants.

Compared to its French variant, which is certainly not without its drawbacks either, it’s literally night and day in the eyes of the young athlete who takes advantage of it as much as she can.

Her confession amused the French public:

The beds and food in the Olympic Village may not be the most pleasant, but the medical care seems to be very pleasant for the athletes.

Ariana Ramsey is in any case taking advantage of her stay in Paris to have as many tests as possible.
