Father of three, LeBron James tries to spend as much time with them as possible despite his busy schedule. His nine-year-old daughter, Zhuri, has also given her point of view on his attitude behind the scenes.

At his age, most of the league’s figures enjoy their retirement to savor watching their children grow up.

LeBron James, for his part, continues to defy the laws of physics and tirelessly pursue his NBA career .

Enough to prevent him from seeing his daughter, Zhuri, as much as he would like, even if he does everything to achieve it, to the point of having taken her with him to the Paris Olympic Games.

Zhuri James reveals her unique perception of LeBron

Born in October 2014, little Zhuri, like her two brothers Bronny and Bryce, has never known LeBron other than as a basketball player and star of the league.

However, while Netflix looked into the daily life of the King as part of the documentary Starting 5 , her perspective was intended to be interesting.

The nine-year-old girl therefore revealed it, even if it meant breaking the myth surrounding her father:

Zhuri James: Everyone thinks my dad is the basketball legend, but he’s just a normal person.

It is not easy, in truth, for a child of this age to understand the fascination that one of her parents can have, whom she has always considered as such and not for his exploits on the courts.

Moreover, Zhuri must now do the same thing with his older brother, Bronny, who was drafted to the Lakers and is therefore accompanying his father there.

And it goes without saying that the young guard is not lacking in attention within the league either, which could once again disturb his little sister.

LBJ, for his part, probably aims to teach him how to live under such public scrutiny.

It remains to be seen whether he will also have the opportunity to pass the baton to his other son, Bryce, who also dreams of playing in the NBA one day.

Zhuri, for her part, does not seem particularly interested in a career in basketball, having rather distinguished herself as a volleyball player. Unless she decides to pursue another path, namely that of sports photographer, for which she seemed almost destined .

While NBA fans all put LeBron James on a pedestal, his daughter Zhuri is in charge of reminding us that he remains a normal person in everyday life. It’s up to the King to remain so despite the success he continues to accumulate on the court.
