Brittany Mahomes has sparked a liberal meltdown after liking one of Donald Trump‘s posts on Instagram – and fans are convinced it could mark the end of her friendship with Taylor Swift.
Brittany has become close pals with Taylor over the past year amid the pop megastar’s romance with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, who plays alongside her quarterback husband Patrick, with the pair attending several NFL games together last season.
Yet after Mahomes’ controversial like was unearthed this week, many believe Swift – a known liberal who publicly accused Trump of ‘stoking white supremacy’ in 2020 – will now ditch her fellow Chiefs WAG.
One wrote on X: ‘Well it looks like Brittany can forget posting up with Taylor Swift in the skyboxes from now on. Could seriously strain their tik tok relationship’.
Another posted: ‘This season is gonna be awkward in the stadium suites with Brittany and Taylor Swift.’

Brittany and Taylor could now be set for an awkward reunion when they next attend a Chiefs game given the songstress’ well-documented disdain for Trump.
Swift ripped into the former President while endorsing Joe Biden back in 2020, even vowing to ‘vote him out’ of the White House four years ago.
Trump has snapped back at her on frequent occasions while even weighing in on her high-profile romance with Kelce.

Fellow Kansas City WAG Swift is a known liberal who publicly condemned Trump in 2020
‘I wish the best for both of them. I hope they enjoy their life, maybe together, maybe not — most likely not,’ he said during an interview with the Daily Caller.
It came after the Washington Post published an opinion piece, saying: ‘If anyone should be worried about Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce, it’s Trump.’
On Thursday night, CBS’ Gayle King also claimed Kelce had reached out to Vice President Kamala Harris over appearing at the Democratic National Convention.
Amid the liberal outrage over her like on Trump’s post, Brittany fired back at her ‘haters’ in a fiery statement on Instagram Friday night.
Eagle-eyed users caught the soon-to-be mother of three liking a post on 16 of Trump’s policies to his 26.3million followers, ranging from topics on immigration to the economy.
‘I mean honestly, to be a hater as an adult you have to have some deep rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood,’ she wrote on her story.

The Chiefs are set to begin their quest for a third straight Super Bowl against the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead on Thursday, September 5, which could be the night of Brittany and Taylor’s awkward reunion in Kansas City.
As well as heading to NFL games together, the pair have also enjoyed several nights out and trips with both their partners and a girl group featuring the likes of Blake Lively, Selena Gomez and Sophie Turner.
