The Princess of Wales could attend the Remembrance Sunday service in November, it has been predicted.

Princess Kate, 42, has stepped back from royal duties this year – with the royal having only made two public appearances so far in 2024.

The mother of three revealed that she was undergoing preventative chemotherapy in March, and shared that she was was in the “early stages” of her treatment.

Kate appeared alongside her young family at this year’s Trooping the Colour on June 15. The royal also attended the men’s final at Wimbledon with Princess Charlotte last month.

After much speculation over her royal return, an insider shared that Kate’s return is not likely soon – but that she may attend “keynote national events”.

A source told the Daily Mail that Kate “is likely to continue to attend keynote national events, such as Remembrance Sunday.”

Express.co.uk has contacted Kensington Palace for comment.

Speaking about her return, a source also told the publication: “We are not there yet. When we last heard from her ahead of Trooping the Colour, she said her treatment was going on into the summer and that’s what’s happening.”

They added: “And as she herself said, she is not out of the woods yet.

“For anyone there is a lot of physical recovery after treatment finishes. It’s not like flipping a switch.”
