As we all know, Prince Harry stepped back from his royal duties in 2020 which also meant stepping back from his military titles and patronages.

One of the last remaining titles he held was Captain General of the Royal Marines, a prestigious role he took over from his grandfather Prince Philip in 2017.

Well, it seems King Charles has now decided to pass that title over to someone else – none other than Zara Tindall!

Word spread quickly today that King Charles had an private audience with Zara to offer her the Captain General role.

As the daughter of Princess Anne and Mike Tindall, Zara has close ties to the royal family but lives a more private life out of the spotlight.

However, she is extremely dedicated to charity work and has been actively involved with the Royal Marines for many years through her work.

King Charles recognized Zara as a dedicated lifelong member of the royal family who would honor the title and its responsibilities.

Naturally, news of the title change did not sit well with Prince Harry.

Multiple sources say he was furious to learn his last remaining military title was being handed to someone else, especially since it had deep personal meaning to him following his service.

Harry has been very vocal about still wanting to maintain ties to the military community despite leaving frontline royal duties. Losing the Captain General role was like a final severing of that important connection for him.
