Chicago Sky star Angel Reese showed up to support at Game 5 of the WNBA Finals — but took a decidedly neutral approach to who she was rooting for courtesy of her attire.

While sitting courtside at deciding game of the WNBA Finals between the New York Liberty and the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday, Oct. 20, rookie standout Reese wore a split jersey supporting Liberty star Breanna Stewart on one side and the Lynx’s Napheesa Collier on the opposite side.

Prior to the game, Reese took to X (formerly known as Twitter) asking her followers if they knew anyone that could make her a jersey showing support for both teams, referencing their star players Stewart and Collier by their nicknames. “Who can make me a half stewie half phee jersey by SUNDAY????,” she wrote on Friday, Oct. 18.

Reese’s fashion request was granted thanks to the talents of designer Jocelyn Hu, whom Reese thanked on X, writing “Shoutout to @jocehu YOU THE 🐐.” She thanked the designer again on Instagram, adding “Thank You @jocehu For This Making This For Me In Less Than 24 Hourssss.”

The jersey also gave a subtle nod to the soon-to-debut Unrivaled basketball league — led by Stewart and Collier — that Reese recently joined.

In an official announcement posted to Instagram on Wednesday, July 24, the Unrivaled basketball league revealed that Reese, 22, had opted in to the league, which features 3×3 basketball. “The Barbie is Unrivaled,” read the caption for Unrivaled and Reese’s joint post. “10/30.”
