DDG unleashed a gentle drag on an X (formerly Twitter) user who critiqued him for posting his son Halo online. The streamer addressed the comment on the same platform on Saturday (Nov. 2).

Here’s How DDG Clapped Back Over His Son

While Halo’s mother, Halle Bailey, spent her entire pregnancy out of the spotlight, DDG, specifically, has kept their son in it. In January, after months of pregnancy speculations, the former couple finally revealed that they had welcomed their first child. DDG and Halle shared photos of their son afterward. However, the highly-anticipated first look at his face happened in July.

While Halo’s parents are no longer together, DDG has continued to give fans insight into life with a son. So, when X user @vjrrma sprinkled a lil’ negativity under a new Halo post, Daddy D didn’t hesitate with the calm clapback! On Nov. 2, the streamer posted an edited picture of Halo smiling with a full set of teeth at a chocolate cupcake. The post had no caption. Amid over 90 replies, @vjrrma wrote, “Stop using your son for fame you weirdo.”

“I never understood this narrative when my son can’t even talk yet. He’s ‘famous’ rn because of his parents. If ur dad posted you when u were young, no one would care lol,” the streamer responded.

Speaking of posting Halo, both his parents also recently shared photos of the infant’s first spooky season. Daddy D and Halo dressed up as the father and son from ‘The Incredibles,’ while Halle and the infant dressed up as Disney’s Lilo and Stitch.

Bailey has yet to address her ex-boyfriend’s posts featuring their son. However, in September, she called out trolls for negative comments regarding their child and her career. The post has since been deleted, but Bailey made it clear at the time that she’s rebuking “every negative word.”
