Taylor Swift, the 14-time Grammy Winner, had received a gentle nudge from her parents 27 years ago on Christmas to begin her musical journey.
Swifties, re-lived the significant moment when the video was posted on X (formerly Twitter).
Filmed in 1997, the clip showed an 8-year-old Swift excitedly unwrapping a guitar.
“Guitar!” she exclaimed before adding, “I am happy!”
The post quickly went viral, with fans flooding the comment section.
“A star was found 27 years ago,” one commenter wrote.
“The beginning of an era,” another added. “And the rest is history,” echoed another.
One fan, pretending to be a seer in that time, quipped, “Guitar, cat, family and a girl with drive, talent and heart, watch how this works out.”
Previously, the Lover crooner shared how she learned her first few chords at age 12 from a computer repairman.
In an interview with Rolling Stone in 2017, Swift revealed that the late American singer-songwriter and guitarist, Tom Petty, inspired her to play guitar.
“He motivated thousands of guitarists to learn to play just because they wanted to be able to play Free Fallin. Count me as one of them,” she said.
The guitar video originally appeared in the Swift’s 2019 holiday single music video, Christmas Tree Farm.
As for now, on this Christmas Taylor Swift and beau Travis Kelce sent joint presents as a couple to their close friends.
