Manny Pacquiao is still plotting a sensational return to the ring.
Pacquiao hasn’t fought since back in August 2021, losing a WBA welterweight title fight against Yordenis Ugas at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Despite it being nearly four years on since that bout, the Filipino legend is still keen to fight again, as he looks to add to his incredible boxing legacy.
Pacquiao is the only eight-weight world champion in boxing history, and is widely regarded as one of the best fighters of all time.
He spent several years as the pound-for-pound number one in the sport, defeating the likes of Oscar De La Hoya, Shane Mosley, Juan Manuel Marquez, Miguel Cotto, Tim Bradley and Marco Antonio Barrera along the way.
“I can fight anybody, even Gervonta Davis, I’m not scared of anybody.”
Davis is the current WBA lightweight champion, having also reigned at super-featherweight and super-lightweight in his career so far.
He holds an undefeated record of 30-0, with an incredible 28 of those victories coming by knockout, including last time out when he stopped Frank Martin in the eighth round back in June.
A fight between ‘Tank’ and Pacquiao seems unlikely, especially with Davis already having his next fight lined up, as he makes another defence of his world title against Lamont Roach in March.
Another option for Pacquiao could be a rematch with his former foe Floyd Mayweather, and the Filipino has revealed his one condition for the bout.
