Chilling video shows woman strolling home from grocery store with her boyfriend just minutes before she meets horrific fate

Eerie surveillance footage shows a man and his girlfriend walking back to his Seattle house with groceries in hand just moments before he allegedly murdered her.

Prosecutors said Andy Chu, 26, confessed to choking his 25-year-old girlfriend, Zoey Suyun He, who was visiting from Hawaii, before twisting her neck and holding her under water in a bathtub while high on ‘molly,’ KHON News reported.

The young woman’s battered body was found after a neighbor called the landlord  when they saw water flooding from Chu’s condo. When Seattle police and the firefighters arrived, they made the grim discovery.

Chu had been captured on video walking out of the townhouse in the Lake City’s Olympic Hills neighborhood at 3000 block of Northeast 133rd Street on August 10 – the day after both were seen entering the property.

He was taken to UW Medical Center by friends after acting ‘erratically.’ At the hospital, he allegedly attacked a nurse, and was arrested.

King County prosecutors charged Chu with first-degree murder and felony assault after police said he told detectives he ‘may have been responsible for killing her.’

Court documents revealed the chilling details leading up to the alleged attack.

A neighbor captured Chu on his Ring Camera that he provided to Seattle police.

It showed a time stamp of when the couple were entering the condo as August 9, NorthWest Asian Weekly reported.

The man told detectives they were carrying groceries, and that he saw Chu leaving the condo alone the following morning.

When police and fire made entry, they found a bathtub full of water and the bathroom sink running.

Cops said she was found on her back with a gash on her neck and ‘an ice pack on her throat.’

Officials added that there was also a small block placed behind her neck supporting her head. They also noted there was ‘no shower head on the pipe.’

Authorities said Chu told police he ‘has a memory’ of choking her, twisting her neck, holding her down underwater in the tub. Police claimed he said he thought he broke her neck and ‘remembered her bleeding from her nose, which he wiped away.’

Chu also allegedly admitted to taking two pills of molly and smoking weed while he was interacting with his girlfriend, Fox13 Seattle reported.
