ESPN’s Ryan Clark is taking heat on social media after showing off his Halloween costume for 2024.
The former NFL safety has been on the controversial side since his transition to mainstream media and hardly ever fails to split opinions.
His recent cosplay of former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick proved to be one such example. He got plenty of stick for it, while others simply found it funny because they thought it looked nothing like Bill.

You can see some of the more prominent reactions here:
“I couldn’t care less. No one should. But Ryan Clark is the type of guy where he would be the first one yelling racism if this was reversed,” a fan wrote.
“I’m confused at what’s allowed and what isn’t allowed,” another added.
“I don’t give 2 sh**s, but he would have an emotional breakdown on a live TV show that’s supposed to be about sports if this was the other way around,” said another.
“I’m offended that we’re supposed to believe that mask looks anything like Bill Belichick,” a user pointed out.
“My culture is not your costume,” someone else raged.
“I’m not mad but that doesn’t look like bill 🤣🤣,” a fan laughed.
“I’ve been saying it for a long time now that RC is totally racist towards white people and this costume he’s wearing says it all! So disappointed in him because he was cool at the start but it was just an act kind of like a Clickbait b***h,” someone else wrote.

Ryan Clark Could Have Gotten A Better Mask
We have to agree with some of the people in the comments. That does not look like Bill Belichick.
As to whether it’s racism, we aren’t going near that with a 10-foot pole, as lines are a bit blurred nowadays.
It’s probably safer to just do nothing.
However, we do hope Belichick has a public reaction.
