Ring girl Sydney Thomas delighted fans as she worked on Mike Tyson’s bout with Jake Paul on Friday night.
Jake Paul might’ve won the final bout, but Thomas certainly came out as the real winner on that night.
The 20-year-old was one of five ring girls deployed for the event in Arlington, Texas.
What made her stock go even further up was the fact that Paul’s unanimous decision victory over Tyson failed to capture the imaginations of many of the fans tuned in worldwide.
It made fans pay more attention to Sydney Thomas, making her follower count on various sites explode.
Fast forward days later and now Thomas is being put in a made-up scenario where she is going head-to-head against actress Sydney Sweeney.
The two women were billed as the main card.

Sydney Thomas is shocked by social media’s reaction to her being a ring girl during Friday’s Mike Tyson-Jake Paul bout at AT&T Stadium.
She posted a TikTok video on Saturday addressing the flood of attention from every corner of every possible social media site.
“I’m happy you guys enjoyed the broadcast!!” Thomas captioned the post.
The video itself had a caption that read: “waking up to see i’m trending for the tyson v paul fight.”
She also thanked fans for their support on Instagram.
“I woke up to an overwhelming amount of love and support from all of you,” Thomas wrote in an Instagram story on Saturday, with a heart emoji added to the end of the message. “I can’t thank you guys enough or begin to express how grateful I am. I love you all — thank you for your kind words.”
