USA basketball fans have gone wild for Kevin Durant’s one-line answer about representing America and patriotism.

Durant has been one of the integral American basketball players of the 21st century and was key in Team USA‘s comeback victory over Serbia in the Olympic semifinals on Thursday.

The United States trailed their European foes by 13 at the end of the third quarter and outscored Serbia 32-15 in the final 10 minutes.

Durant, alongside Steph Curry and LeBron James, were the catalyst trio to led America to the gold medal game.

The Phoenix Suns star and first-ballot future Hall of Famer gave his take on wearing the red, white, and blue loud and clear.

‘A lot of b******t happens in our country. But a lot of great things happen, too.’ Durant said.

Durant’s comment has been well received, including some saying his quote should be on government buildings.

‘Slogan of the generation,’ one USA basketball fan said.

Durant’s final Olympic step in Paris will be against the host French in the final, which will be another tough test.

Leading this Team USA roster to a gold medal will be a tremendous achievement, with Durant possibly further proving what it means to represent the United States.
