Tom Brady loves winning and apparently loves saying one particular word when it comes to calling football games.

For the most part, Brady has been solid during his broadcasting debut season in 2024, but he was never going to live up to the high expectations that were placed upon him.

He has grown into the role, but his performance on the call of the Steelers-Ravens Week 16 game appeared to be a major step backward.

Saturday’s Ravens-Steelers game on Fox featured Tom Brady constantly using the same word over and over again during the broadcast: “Chunk or chunks.”

He said it so much that it became a running joke on social media.

Tom Brady Also Screwed Up Breakdown During Ravens-Steelers Game

Tom Brady was on call for the mega matchup between the Ravens and Steelers during Week 16.

He had a rough day that saw him using “chunks” way too much, but that was just the start of his day.

When breaking down a touchdown pass to Rashod Bateman in the second quarter, Brady made the mistake of saying that Lamar Jackson had caught a touchdown pass that he had thrown.

He would correct himself.

“This is Cory Trice at corner,” said Brady. “The second-year player who hasn’t had much playing experience. They run a high-low concept and he just takes the cheese up here on Likely and exposes the safety to this easy throw here to Lamar.”
