A star among stars at the Paris Olympics, Stephen Curry was naturally the subject of numerous requests, particularly from his compatriots.

Gymnast Jordan Chiles was thus able to provide a behind-the-scenes look at their meeting.

Without a doubt, the coronation of the American basketball team, led by a gala Stephen Curry , was one of the symbolic moments of the Paris Olympic Games.

However, many other athletes representing the United States also left their mark on the fortnight.

Jordan Chiles is one of them, who offered a magnificent image by prostrating herself with Simone Biles in front of the Brazilian Rebeca Andrade:

Initially a team gold medalist and an individual bronze medalist, Jordan Chiles finally saw this second trinket taken away from her following a crazy imbroglio. Since then, she has not hidden her frustration following this decision by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

Apart from that, the gymnast fortunately forged beautiful memories in Paris, where she wanted above all to meet two of her compatriots:

Jordan Chiles: I would really like to meet Sydney McLaughlin. She is literally the best hurdler, like, in HISTORY. And Steph Curry, for sure.

Although she didn’t get to rub shoulders with the 400m hurdles champion, she did cross paths with Curry, and excitedly recounted the experience to GQ Sports :

Jordan Chiles: Guys, I got to meet Curry! He even knew who I was. He was like, “Hey, I’m Steph Curry,” and I was like, “I know who you are bro, like, seriously.” And he even asked me, “Jordan, can I take a picture with you?” I felt so honored. I couldn’t believe it, Steph Curry asking to take a picture with me!

But yeah, it was really cool to be able to meet him and he’s really an inspiration to me.

Unfortunately, the famous photo of the two Olympic gold medalists has not yet been released. No doubt the young woman keeps it preciously in her phone, given her joy, just by evoking it.

Although deprived of the bronze medal that had initially been awarded to her, Jordan Chiles was able to console herself by meeting Stephen Curry, and even taking a photo with him. All this, at the request of the Chef, something of which she can be proud.
