Get ready for the eye emojis. Chicago Sky star Angel Reese reacted playfully to A’ja Wilson’s intriguing post on Tuesday featuring the reigning WNBA MVP sporting a hat that said, “put it on my boyfriend’s tab.” While both stars have been rumored to be involved with NBA players, neither has confirmed their relationships.
Wilson, who has been linked to Miami Heat’s Bam Adebayo, who signed a three-year, $165 million contract extension with his team earlier this year, shared six photos showcasing the hat and captioned the post with:
“Check pls.”
Reese left a curious comment under the post:
“Sis where can i find this hat? 😭😍.”

This response caught attention, especially since Reese’s dating life has mostly remained private. Earlier this year, she was connected to Pistons center Jalen Duren after she was seen wearing a Detroit jersey and they were spotted together during the WNBA’s Olympic break.
However, in a November episode of her podcast “Unapologetically Angel,” Reese revealed she’s currently single, emphasizing that she wants to be fully committed to a relationship, something she doesn’t feel ready for at the moment.
“Why am I single?” Reese reflected. “Just working on myself. … Everybody works on them themselves, but I’m not ready to give myself to someone else right now.”
“I don’t want to give half. If I’m in a relationship I’m going to give everything I have.”
A’ja Wilson once called Angel Reese ‘Young A’ja’
Both Angel Reese and A’ja Wilson delivered record-breaking performances during the 2024 WNBA season. They share several similarities, such as dominance in rebounding and being left-handed.
In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Wilson had a unique nickname for Reese, saying she saw a lot of herself in the young forward.
“It has been super cool to play against her,” Wilson said. “I’ve watched her throughout her collegiate career, even back in Maryland. My good friend actually was coaching her at that time, so that’s how I honestly started to follow Angel. And I saw a little of myself in her.”
“No matter what I do, I’m gonna make sure that I go all-out and give it 100%. And I saw that, just the motor (Reese) has, I was like ‘Oh yeah, that is Young A’ja, 100%.’”
Reese was the runner-up for Rookie of the Year to Caitlin Clark, while Wilson claimed the MVP award unanimously.
