It’s no surprise that Angel Reese has become one of the most popular athletes in the WNBA. She’s coming off a memorable rookie campaign with the Chicago Sky that saw her lead the entire league in rebounds before she went down with a season-ending injury toward the latter part of 2024.

It’s also a fact that Reese has amassed a ton of fans during her time in the limelight. As it turns out, however, there are just some who rank very highly on the creepy scale.

In a recent episode of her “Unapologetically Angel” podcast, the 22-year-old revealed that she used to receive love letters from a very unlikely person.

“When I was in college, somehow, some way, these men in jail used to send letters, like love letters,” she said. “Somehow one of them got my address — my mom’s address. My mom had to do all that and call the police and all that.”

Reese went on to detail the contents of the letters, so it’s no surprise that her mom had to involve the authorities because of them.

“I swear, he talking about, ‘When I get out, I’m coming for you. I’m gonna be with you. We going to have kids,'” she continued. “Sir, take a timeout… People are crazy.”

Reese is able to smile about it now, but it had to be a scary situation for her when she realized that a criminal somehow knew where she lived.

At this point, Reese still remains single — at least according to her. The Sky All-Star was rumored to be dating Detroit Pistons big man Jalen Duren earlier this year, but she came out to deny that allegation.

In a recent interview, the former LSU star declared that she is, indeed, in a relationship, but that it is with God.

Reese appears to have already recovered from her wrist injury. She had to undergo surgery to address the issue, but it seems that the 6-foot-3 forward will not be bothered by the injury when she takes part in the inaugural season of the Unrivaled league in January.
