Chicago Sky star Angel Reese expressed her admiration for Myra Gordon, the girlfriend of Philadelphia 76ers’ Tyrese Maxey, after Gordon posted photos from their date night on Instagram.

Reese, who has often commented on Gordon’s social media posts, responded simply to a series of photos showing Gordon in a casual green cozy outfit, a black ensemble and featuring shots with Maxey.

Gordon, who had previously been associated with Panthers quarterback Bryce Young, is a former basketball player. She regularly shares posts about her time with Maxey, including intimate moments from their dates.

Angel Reese explains why she is not in a relationship

In a November episode of her podcast “Unapologetically Angel,” Reese opened up to Funny Marco about why she’s currently single.

She shared that she is focused on self-improvement and believes that for a relationship to work, she needs to be fully committed, which she feels she’s not ready to do right now.

While Reese’s dating life has mostly stayed out of the public eye, she was previously linked to Pistons center Jalen Duren earlier this year after wearing a Detroit jersey and being spotted together during the WNBA’s Olympic break.

“Why am I single?” Reese reflected. “Just working on myself. … Everybody works on them themselves, but I’m not ready to give myself to someone else right now.”

“I don’t want to give half. If I’m in a relationship I’m going to give everything I have.”

Reese also mentioned that there’s one past relationship she regrets, though she kept the person’s identity private.

Reese has also previously revealed her preference for taller men, ideally between 6-foot-7 and 6-foot-8, and specifically, she’d like them to be in the NBA.
