LeBron James has achieved enough to be remembered for years in NBA history.

The 39-year-old star player recently added another milestone to his list by winning his 3rd gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

However, one of the NBA’s star players isn’t satisfied with James’ legacy.

During a recent appearance on the Club 520 podcast, Milwaukee Bucks point guard Damian Lillard revealed his top 5 favorite players in the NBA right now.

However, Lillard, who recently praised Kyrie Irving, didn’t include LeBron James’ name.

“Anthony Edwards, I think everyone is super high on him right now, but I like him because his energy and his swag are authentic, and he got the game to go with it.

So, I’mma go Anthony Edwards, I’mma go Ja Morant. He got into some trouble, so I think people kind of turned off to him a little bit, but… I know what I am looking at.” Lillard said.

“I’mma go Anthony Edwards, Ja Morant, Luka (Doncic), (Nikola Jokic), and Giannis (Antetokounmpo),” Lillard continued. “That’s my five right now,” Lillard added.

Recent Milestones in LeBron James’ Career

James has been a crucial player behind the success of Team USA at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

He displayed remarkable performances for the American men’s basketball team, which led to the country’s 5th straight gold medal.

Due to his stellar efforts, the 39-year-old was rewarded with the tournament’s MVP honor at the end of the 2024 Olympics basketball.

In the NBA, the all-time points leader gave his best for the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2023-24 season.

However, they lost to the Denver Nuggets in the playoffs.

James, the four-time NBA champion and three-time gold medal winner, recently signed a new contract with the Lakers.

Additionally, the Lakers selected his son, Bronny James, in the 2024 NBA draft.

This will make them the first father-son duo to play for the same team in NBA history.

It will be fascinating to see what James and Bronny bring to the fans in the upcoming NBA season.
