Her dominant performances last season made her a tough opponent for Clark in the Rookie of the Year race. However, She suffered a wrist injury late into the season, which sidelined her from any basketball activities.

She averaged 13.6 points, 13.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game while shooting 39.1% from the field. The Sky star was criticized for poor shooting prowess during her rookie season.
