Shaquille O’Neal’s sexist slip-up against Angel Reese: “When you wear those outfits…

With the WNBA having a record-breaking season, and players looking to keep it going, Shaquille O’Neal had some advice for Angel Reese.

But the footage quickly went viral, and not for good reasons.

With records in just about every department, the WNBA had a historic season, thanks in large part to Caitlin Clark.

While the league has had many stars for years, it was the Fever player who helped boost the league’s popularity.

This bodes well for the future, although there was ultimately a loss of around $40 million according to some media outlets.

However, the WNBA is doing better and better and players like Angel Reese want to help go a little further.

Whether it’s by creating a buzz on the court, but also off it.

The Sky center was able to discuss the subject by discussing in her podcast with Shaquille O’Neal … before the latter crossed the line.

Shaquille O’Neal slips up in front of Shaquille O’Neal

Let’s just say that in this podcast, O’Neal very often made more than borderline allusions, believing that the WNBA should play on a more “sexy” side to increase its attractiveness:

Shaquille O’Neal to Angel Reese : “Imagine if you wore the same shorts that you wore to a Wild ‘N Out show, you know. Can you imagine how many jerseys you could sell?”

And in the face of such an allusion to the sexy outfit recently worn by Reese, the latter could not hide a certain unease. This sequence illustrates it best.

Reese looks clearly embarrassed and wants to quickly change the subject, but O’Neal persists on her side:

Shaquille O’Neal : “You’re not just beautiful and sexy, some of you are gorgeous. Sometimes when you wear those outfits, you really look phenomenal.”

O’Neal continues, believing that the priority should be on what “men like” in order to increase popularity. An obviously lunar scene, which quickly made the rounds on social networks. The fans do not understand.

@MrWayneWoo : “Shaq is really horrible. You’re supposed to be playing this mentor/father role with her, but you make these sick comments.”

@big_business_ : “That sequence between Shaq and Angel Reese was really disgusting.”

Sexualizing female players? That’s Shaquille O’Neal’s solution to increase WNBA ratings. Needless to say, it’s causing a scandal, with a flood of reactions on social media. A real disgrace.
