Social media is teeing off on Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones following a major announcement for the highly-touted Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight tonight.
The former undisputed world heavyweight champion and controversial YouTube personality will square off at the Cowboys’ home venue of AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Even though the Cowboys have no connection to this match, other than the venue, fans still found a hysterical way to tee off on Jerry Jones.
As fans know, Jones has constantly refused to put up the curtains to block out the glaring sunlight that frequently shines through the windows of AT&T Stadium.
That whole fiasco reared its ugly head in the Cowboys’ loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, when Dallas wide receiver CeeDee Lamb failed to catch an easy touchdown pass because of the sunlight:

Well, this whole thing gets even weirder. The curtains are up for the Tyson-Paul match this evening, yet Jerry Jones can’t be bothered to put them up in football games to help his own team.
So as expected, social media wasted no time ripping on Jones:
What can we say? Nothing Jones does seems to make sense anymore.
Jerry Jones Continues To Alienate Himself From Cowboys Fans
The Cowboys’ main issue isn’t the coaching staff or the roster. It’s the owner who refuses to fire himself as the general manager. This is the same owner, by the way, who fired a Hall of Fame head coach in Jimmy Johnson after winning back-to-back Super Bowls. All because Jones didn’t like him.
Jones does what he wants for attention. He can say he cares about winning all he wants, but he doesn’t. And he’s doing an excellent job in creating a legacy as one of the most unpopular and controlling owners ever, one who has cost Dallas dearly with his arrogance.
