Chicago Sky’s Kysre Gondrezick is good friends with WNBA rookie Angel Reese. In her latest Instagram post, she added an image of a dessert with Celtics’ Jaylen Brown’s face on top. Reese responded to the post with a cryptic message, fueling Pistons’ Jalen Duren dating rumors.

The former Sky guard’s post featured vacation pictures, images of her Chanel collection and a snapshot from her basketball workout session. The picture with Brown’s face on a cake dish added more attention to her connection with the 2024 NBA Finals MVP. They were seen together on the same duck boat during the Celtics’ championship parade and at this year’s ESPY Awards Show.

“We love our J’s,” Reese wrote on Gondrezick’s post.

Angel Reese’s former Chicago Sky teammate revealed her “separation anxiety” after Instagram post

On Jul. 16, Jaylen Brown, Kysre Gondrezick and Angel Reese attended the NBA Summer League game between the Boston Celtics and the LA Lakers. Days after being spotted with Brown at Boston’s championship parade, it was their next public appearance.

Reese celebrated her reunion with her former teammate by posting a selfie of herself alongside Gondrezick. However, the former WNBA guard couldn’t help but feel emotional and reshared the image with a personal caption.

“Having separation anxiety,” Gondrezick posted.

During her lone season with the Chicago Sky, Gondrezick logged only five games in her tenure. She averaged 1.0 points (28.6% shooting) and 0.4 assists in her 3.2 minutes per outing. On Jun. 28, she was waived by the organization from the roster.

Gondrezick was previously the fourth overall pick in the 2021 WNBA Draft by the Indiana Fever. She played 19 games with the franchise, averaging 1.9 ppg (28.3% shooting) and 1.0 rpg.

Gondrezick took some time away from basketball on Nov. 22, 2021, following the death of her father. The Fever organization later waived her on Jan. 19, 2022. Her father previously played for the Phoenix Suns and the LA Clippers during his two NBA seasons.
