The Chicago Sky are set to host the Indiana Fever in another Angel Reese vs.
Caitlin Clark showdown on Sunday afternoon.
Clark and topped Reese in the first two matchups of their WNBA career.
Reese is feeling good ahead of the matchup. She’s sizzling with her pregame outfit.
Both Clark and Reese have downplayed their rivalry over the past couple of months.
“I’m pretty sure that the only people who view this as a rivalry is all of you,” Clark said on Friday night. “For us, it’s just a game of basketball.
That’s what it is. If it’s going to help move the game forward, then absolutely. That’s amazing.
That’s what it should be. People can talk about it.”
Reese added: “Me and Caitlin Clark don’t hate each other.
I want everybody to understand that.
It’s just a super-competitive game.
Once I get between those lines, there’s no friends.
I’m going to talk trash to you.
I’m going to do whatever it takes to get in your head the whole entire game, but after the game, we can kick it.
I don’t think people really realize that.”
