Angel Reese is set to make her NBA 2K debut in the franchise’s latest installment. The WNBA has been included in the game for the last few years, but renewed interest in the women’s league has drawn recent attention to that section of the game.

NBA 2K’s official X account shared the first image of Reese in the game:

This image sparked multiple reactions from fans. Many of them praised the developers for their realistic depiction of Reese’s eyelashes:

“They got her lashes poppin.” One fan said.

“she got her lashes done this is crazy 😭,” another fan said.

“Yall even gave her the lashes ngl cook,” another fan wrote.

Others said her overall look is accurate:

“This spot on can’t lie,” one fan wrote.

Led by stars Angel Reese, Caitlin Clark, Cameron Brink and Kamilla Cardoso, the WNBA’s viewership has increased. This increase affects how many people will play WNBA mode in NBA 2K25. Amid a terrific season, where she’s batting Caitlin Clark for Rookie of the Year honors, Reese is among the league’s most popular players.

The WNBA resumes action tomorrow and Reese is considered one of the players to watch during the second half of the season.

Angel Reese clears the air on her attempt to recruit Gabby Williams

Angel Reese caught a lot of attention when she sent a message to former Chicago Sky player Gabby Williams. Many say the young star tried to recruit Williams to the team that drafted her. Reese had to clarify her intentions, saying she was having fun with Williams.

“I don’t have any expectations,” Reese said. “I don’t know anything. It’s just fun. I’ve been a fan of Gabby since she was at UConn, and I’ve always tried to take some things from her game. She plays hard, and I love that about her. It was tough to see her losing, obviously to see her play, but I just love Gabby and it was just a joke ’cause she did play here in Chicago.

“I watched her when she was here in Chicago for a little while, so I’m excited to see where her career goes. Any WNBA team that gets her is lucky for sure.”

The Chicago Sky are still in the playoff picture. If Reese maintains her performance level, they will have a serious shot to play late September basketball.
