After winning the gold medal in the Paris Olympics, the conversation about Kevin Durant being one of the most dominant and important players in the NBA is definitely worth entertaining.
Even after being in a lor of teams, he has earned every stripe he has.
With that said, he has been doing it since his time in college, especially back in the 2006-07 season, where was a force to face when in his time in Texas with the Longhorns.
As a freshman he was unstoppable as he had on average 25.8 point, 11.1 rebounds and a par of steals and blocks per game, wile shooting 47% from the field.
Along with those numbers, recognition came in the form of trophies as he won the Rupp Trophy, the Naismith Awars and the Wooder Award.
Now he has another one to go with those.
The new piece of hardware he has
However, this new piece of hardware cannot be compared to the ones mentioned above as this very special WWE championship belt has a different meaning.
During the Fanatics Fest in New Yok City this weekend, the company’s boss and former wrestler, Triple H, gave a very special gift.
The championship belt has the Texas Longhorns logo and colors, as it was a very special moment when the two legends met.
This belt comes after the Longhorns announced that in February as the San Antonio Spurs will host one of their games at the Moody Center.
The Longhorns’ new arena just recently became their home court, but what’s interesting is that the Spurs will be facing Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns as this will a very special night for KD with the arena filled with Spurs and Longhorns fans.
