NBA 2K has officially released its character settings for the WNBA prior to the release of the video game in September. The first look at Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark and Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese had social media buzzing when the photos were posted.

Clark and Reese are in the game as WNBA players for the first time in their careers, and it looks like the graphics truly resemble their personal appearances.

WNBA fans blew up the comment section online, sharing some unique responses to the NBA 2K release.

“I’m running that Steph vs CC 1 vs 1 IMMEDIATELY!,” commented one fan.

“Caitlin better be 90+,” mentioned another fan.

“Hopefully they have Caitlin Clark state Fair butter statue as a secret player you can unlock,” said another fan.

Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark have become two of the most popular names in the WNBA despite being in the league for a couple of months.

Both players are battling for the league’s Rookie of the Year award, with Reese averaging 13.5 points and 11.9 rebounds per game and Clark posting 17.1 points and 8.2 assists per game.

While fans are focused on their fictional video characters, Reese and Clark are attempting to carry their teams to the WNBA playoffs.

Indiana currently stands as the No. 7 team in the WNBA with an 11-15 record, while Chicago sits right behind them at No. 8 with a 10-14 record.

They’ll both be playing the Phoenix Mercury in their return back to the court after the WNBA’s break for the Paris Olympics.

Angel Reese and the Sky will host the Mercury on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET, and Caitlin Clark’s squad will take on Phoenix on Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET.
