Draymond Green et Steph Curry

Despite a few arrivals this summer, the Warriors failed to bring in a Lauri Markkanen or Paul George.

A failure for the organization, but it believes it is not responsible for all that. The fans have a different opinion on the matter.

With Buddy Hield, De’Anthony Melton and Kyle Anderson, the Warriors are convinced that they have given their squad a boost this summer.

Not necessarily enough to compete with the best teams in the NBA, but the management is confident for the months to come.

The front office is also considering a possible trade during the season to help Stephen Curry and company.

The Warriors snubbed by other franchises?

Nevertheless, the attitude of the management is far from convincing absolutely everyone. Mike Dunleavy Jr, the GM, is accused of having missed a few shots on the market, like Paul George (before his arrival at the Sixers) or Lauri Markkanen more recently.

In a recent article shared by the Light Years account, here is what we can read about the negotiations.

Imminent turning point for Steph Curry at Golden State? “The Warriors have not…

“Golden State is already planning its next moves after the failures concerning Paul George and Lauri Markkanen during the offseason.

Team officials believe that they are still well positioned to improve the roster with a trade next year. (…) The feeling at Chase Center is that the Clippers and the Jazz, despite discussions with both teams, did not really want to negotiate with the Warriors.”

For the Dubs, it is therefore not their fault if the negotiations failed.

A rather surprising response and a feeling shared among the fans. For many, it is mainly the Warriors who should be blamed in all this.

Lie. GSW did not want to negotiate in good faith leaving several players out of the conversation.

“Every team is mean to us, why won’t they give us the deal WE want?”

The Warriors are blaming other franchises for the summer’s failures, which doesn’t sit well with some fans.

Isn’t it more the front office’s fault? What is certain is that other teams had no problem strengthening themselves this summer via trade.
