If the Warriors have improved their roster according to them, is the franchise capable of fighting with the best teams to try to win the championship? Let’s say that there are doubts, and even within this organization.

That should not please the leaders.

With the departure of Klay Thompson, the arrivals of Buddy Hield or Kyle Anderson, the Warriors are convinced that they have succeeded their summer.

The franchise believes that the roster is better today, the leaders wishing to play for the title in the Western Conference.

It must be said that it does not really have a choice with Steph Curry on the roster, he who wants to play in a competitive team.

This does not mean that the Warriors are expecting carnage, but winning the championship will be very difficult.

The franchise could still strengthen itself during the season, it which thinks that this roster is not final.

Anthony Slater for The Athletic: “Key players on the Warriors are aware of Curry’s greatness on the team and, according to sources, there is some internal awareness that this roster cannot be considered a finished product if winning the 2025 NBA championship is seen as an achievable goal.”

In short, the Dubs plan to recruit a little more, at least if the franchise believes it has a chance to play for the title.

Because if Curry is there, it must be recognized that this roster does not necessarily have the weapons to compete with the competition, as the results of the last few years confirm.

It is therefore possible that the front office is still looking to recruit.

It’s not as if the Warriors have a choice, not with Curry on the roster.

The good news for the franchise today is that the point guard is officially satisfied with the summer moves.

There are still adjustments to be made, but Baby Face is happy with this roster as the restart begins.

A feeling far from being shared by all, however.

The Warriors recognize that their roster is not yet good enough, at least if the franchise dreams of winning the NBA championship again.

The talent is there, certainly, but it will take much more when we see the competition in the West.
