Félix Lebrun, 17, is one of the French stars of these Olympic Games.

A medalist in table tennis, he was encouraged by many personalities such as Zinédine Zidane and Tyrese Haliburton.

He has just sent a message to the leader of Team USA.

These Olympic Games will most certainly remain in the history of our sport and in the memory of fans. Firstly because France has never won so many medals in the modern era, and the harvest is far from over.

It’s incredible that people like Tyrese Haliburton, who come from another country and another sport, came to see ping pong.

And that he says that about me and Alexis too, it makes me really happy.

I think there is a really nice craze that is being created around table tennis. Zinédine Zidane came to see us too.

It’s really great for us and for the discipline in France.

We never have the chance to meet the guys from Team USA, and the fact that they come to watch ping pong, and that they say that it is their favorite sport of the Olympics, it’s cool.

I hope they come back. It would be cool to be able to play a match.

Tyrese comes to the village whenever he wants.

We can even do a 2v1 if they want, no problem. If we make 100 balls, they obviously have a chance to win a point, but I think people don’t realize how difficult our sport is.

Félix Lebrun is happy to see that his sport is increasingly followed thanks to his exploits.

He was cheered on by Zinedine Zidane and Tyrese Haliburton on his way to his bronze medal, and by millions of new fans.
