LeBron enjoyed his day off before Team USA’s crucial group-stage clash

LOS Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James has made his daughter Zhuri cringe with hilarious dance moves at the Paris Olympics.

The four-time NBA champion cheered on Team USA beach volleyball stars Kristen Nuss and Taryn Kloth with family during his day off.

The pair beat China’s Xue Chen and Xia Xinyi on Thursday night to advance to the Round of 16.

Nuss, 26, and Kloth, 27, bounced back from one set down while dealing with a lightning storm that prompted a 75-minute delay to secure the victory.

Rain and thunderstorms didn’t scare away the James family, who seemed to have a blast at the spectacular Olympic volleyball arena, with the illuminated Eiffel Tower towering behind.

A clip of LeBron, 39, in the stands showed the Lakers star screaming in support of the American duo as he watched the game in the company of his Zhrui, 9, and wife Savannah, 37.

In the video, the 6 foot 9 forward could also be seen showing off some dance moves that left his daughter slightly embarrassed.

Zhuri buried his face in her hands as he started pumping up his fists.

The volleyball pair seemed to be enjoying LeBron’s antics, though, with Kloth giving him a thumbs-up with a huge smile on her face.

The adoring scene left fans bemused.

“LeBron has reached embarrassing dad status,” one posted on X.

“Just imagine hearing, ‘Ugh my dad LeBon being so annoying’ lmfaooo,” another added.

“This is mandatory dad behavior,” a third said.

“The type of athlete, dad, husband, businessman we should all strive to be. A true legend on and off the court,” one wrote.

The Round of 16 in the women’s beach volleyball competition will begin on Sunday.

Knockout stage brackets will be determined after the end of pool play.

Meanwhile, LeBron and his Team USA co-stars will fight to secure the No. 1 overall seed in the men’s basketball tournament in Saturday’s matchup with Puerto Rico.

To do so, the Americans will have to win the game and maintain their point differential advantage over Germany and France.

After the first two games, Steve Kerr’s men had a plus-43-point differential.

Meanwhile, Germany was at plus-33 and France at plus-16.

“Yeah, we talked with [the players] about it this morning, showed them the standings, showed them the point differential. We want the No. 1 seed,” Kerr said before Friday’s practice, per The Athletic.

“It gives you the best matchup in the quarterfinals.

“So if we drop down to two or three, which I think is unlikely, but we’ve got to take care of our business. We possibly have a much tougher opponent.”
