Naturalized American a few months ago, Joel Embiid will now try to win gold with Team USA at the Paris Olympic Games.
But the pivot has hinted that he could still change nationality for the 2028 edition in Los Angeles!
The decision continues to be debated in France and this was seen during the 2024 Olympic Games.
Having opted for the United States after announcing that he wanted to join the Blues, Joel Embiid was roundly booed every time he appeared on the court.
Little used at the beginning, he was however monstrous during the last two games and is now preparing to play in the final… against the French Team, quite a symbol.
