Angel Reese and Reebok have unveiled their first line of partnership products to the fans eagerly awaiting its arrival. The new product line should feature multiple footwear options and a few clothing apparel for starters. The brand talked to “Men’s Journal” and described the products in this new line with a few words.
“A full range of performance and lifestyle footwear and apparel inspired by Reese’s versatile style on and off the court.” (via Men’s Journal)
Like many other Reebok collections, footwear leads the Reebok by Angel Reese collection. The $120 Premier Road VI headlines the series, they come with DMX foam that gives the wearer all-day comfort. The BB 4000 II succeeds the retro-Reebok sneakers and will come for $110. The BB 4000 II features a silhouette resembling the vintage Reebok basketball sneaker designs.
The last footwear in the collection is the Classic Leather, coming in at $100 and featuring the brand’s beloved leather retro-runner design language. Two pieces of clothing are included for fans looking to get something more than the wide variety of sneakers available.
The first clothing featured in the Reebok by Angel Reese is the Angel Vector Track Jacket, coming in at $80. The jacket draws inspiration from the old-school track jackets and adds a new-school attitude. The second and last clothing item in the collection is a T-shirt bearing the signature Reese catchphrase on it:
“When They Sleep On You…Tuck Them In!”
The T-shirt will be coming in at $40. The Chicago Sky star also shared a few words about her new collection with the sportswear giant.
“I am honored to unveil my first collection with Reebok,” Reese said (via Men’s Journal)
The Reebok by Angel Reese collection will drop on the official Reebok website on Aug. 23.
Shaquille O’Neal backs Angel Reese on her deal with Reebok
Last month when Reese confirmed that she would be signing with Reebok for her signature shoe and apparel line, she praised the Reebok president and NBA icon Shaquille O’Neal for his welcoming nature.
“I love Reebok. Shaq has been amazing to me. When I first met him, he said, ‘When are you signing to Reebok?”
Likewise, O’Neal had warm words for the Chicago Sky rookie star when he announced her as his first name, image and likeness deal since taking office.
“For my first appointment in this role, it had to be the GOAT,” O’Neal said. (via Men’s Journal)
Shaq also said no one is making a bigger impact in the game than Reese. Reese was having an incredible WNBA season before the Paris Olympics put it on break. She was averaging 13.5 points, 12.0 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game for the Sky and was a front-runner in the Rookie of the Year race.
