Gabby Thomas had an entire nation behind her in Paris on Tuesday, vying for Olympic gold in the women’s 200m final after taking home bronze in Tokyo three years ago.
Among the millions of Americans across the globe watching Thomas take center stage at the Stade de France? Chicago Sky rookie sensation Angel Reese, who’s kept a close eye on the action in Paris amid the WNBA’s Olympic break.
Reese, to no one’s surprise, has hardly been shy sending online well wishes to her fellow American athletes throughout the Olympics.
She playfully encouraged Sha’Carri Richardson to “KILL THEM ALL” before the sprinting star won silver in the women’s 200m final. A couple days earlier, Reese feted Simone Biles winning her second all-around gold by invoking the latter’s new NSFW catchphrase.

Chicago, 10-14, currently holds a three-game lead on the Atlanta Dream for the WNBA’s eighth and final playoff spot. Reese and the Sky will be back in action on August 15th against the Phoenix Mercury.
