Comedian Funny Marco joined Angel Reese on the latest episode of her podcast, “Unapologetically Angel,” released Wednesday, and offered some hilarious suggestions for Reese’s dating life, all of which she quickly rejected.

As the two discussed dating, Funny Marco tossed out a few names he thought would be good matches for the Chicago Sky star.

As he began listing his options, Angel Reese interrupted, saying:

“Don’t be stupid.” (44:40 mark)

He started by suggesting sitcom actor Tyler James Williams, best known for his role as the title character in Everybody Hates Chris.

“The dude that played ‘Everybody Hates Chris’ — that person right there, that actor. … He’s clean cut, he does his thing,” Funny Marco said (44:46 mark).

Reese immediately rejected the idea, stating that her ideal partner should be a “nice,” “wholesome” and “God-fearing” man.

Next, Funny Marco suggested 54-year-old gospel singer and choir director Kirk Franklin.

“I am 22, he is how old?” Reese replied. “That’s not going to work.”

At one point during the episode, Funny Marco jokingly teased that Reese was flirting with him, to which Reese quickly responded:

“I don’t do short kings. Sorry.”

Reese previously revealed her preference for taller guys, ideally between 6-foot-7 and 6-foot-8, and in the NBA.

Reese’s dating life has been mostly public, with her being linked to Pistons center Jalen Duren earlier this year after she wore a Detroit jersey and they were seen together during the WNBA’s Olympic break.

Angel Reese explains why she is single

In the podcast, Angel Reese shared with Funny Marco the reasons behind her single status. She explained that she’s focusing on self-growth and believes in giving her all to a relationship, something she feels she can’t do at the moment.

While she is in the middle of her first offseason as a pro, Reese is set to play in the Unrivaled League in January.

“Why am I single?” Reese reflected. “Just working on myself. … Everybody works on them themselves, but I’m not ready to give myself to someone else right now.”

“I don’t want to give half. If I’m in a relationship I’m going to give everything I have.”

Reese also mentioned that there was one past relationship she regretted, though she didn’t reveal who it was with.
