Curry had a message to the crowd in Paris as he demolished the French team down the stretch
TEAM USA star Steph Curry seems to have hurt France deeply with his heroics in the men’s basketball final.
The Golden State Warriors star propelled the Americans to a 98-87 victory over the host nation on Saturday, causing the country’s McDonald’s to issue a threat.

Curry, 36, ended the clash gold medal clash with 24 points, one rebound, five assists, and two steals.
More notably, he knocked down four 3s in the last three minutes to repel the Frenchmen’s late comeback attempt.
“For obvious reasons, we are considering removing this sauce,” the company posted on Instagram alongside an image of a classic curry sauce container.
In the caption, the French McDonald’s said the ban could last “for four years minimum.”
The joke amused Team USA fans.
“Night night Curry Sauce,” one wrote,
“They come in packets of 3,” another added.
“Now they know what he’s been doing all these years to the NBA,” a third said.
“Hahahhahahah,” one wrote, adding four laughing emojis.
Curry had a message for the Paris crowd as he crushed France’s comeback hopes late in the fourth quarter.
After knocking down the second of his four late 3s, he turned to the stands and yelled, “Don’t worry about me!”
The Warriors playmaker stepped up when Team USA needed him the most in Paris, thriving in the last two games having overcome a shooting slump from earlier in the tournament.
Before the France matchup, Curry erupted for 36 points in the tough semifinals clash against Serbia.
Still, the Olympics MVP award went to LeBron James, making some Team USA fans upset.
The US men’s basketball team claimed its fifth straight Olympic gold at the 2024 Paris Games – and 17th all time.
The following day, the American women – in another matchup with France – won the basketball tournament for the eight time in a row, taking a narrow 67-66 win after a tough battle.
All in all, Team USA topped the medal table with 40 golds and 126 overall medals.
The next Summer Games will take place in Los Angeles, California, in 2028.
