Isn’t it surprising that players like Steph Curry and Anthony Davis have watched Bronny James grow up before their eyes? The not-so-little son of LeBron James has surely been a sensational name in the 2024/25 NBA season.
Keeping aside his gameplay troubles, Bronny is doing his duties as a two-way player for the LA Lakers. Known for his humble nature, has the 20-year-old guard experienced the rookie treatment yet? Besides, who’d dare to haze Bron Sr.’s son?
No one but Anthony Davis. The Los Angeles Lakers center took his liberty to play around Bronny sitting on the sideline beside his dad. A viral clip shared by Bleacher Report on X shows the Brow signaling James Jr. to vacate his seat. We wonder what AD must have said. “Hey rook, move!” sounds hilarious if you imagine. But AD was surely having his moment hazing Bronny James.

And well, LeBron didn’t even resist his teammate from ‘humbling’ his teammate (son). But considering the relationship Bronny James shares with Anthony Davis, this little moment doesn’t seem odd at all! Well, AD did show up courtside for James Jr.’s G League debut like a supportive uncle, if that’s what it means now.
Despite a benched LeBron, Bronny James & Lakers took their win vs. Trail Blazers
LeBron James sat out his first game of the 2023-24 season on Sunday. The cause? Left foot soreness. It marked a rare miss for the Lakers superstar. In 22 years, he’s rarely been sidelined. His durability has been unmatched. But even the King needs a rest sometimes.
LeBron was out, but the Lakers still found a way to win. They triumphed over the Portland Trail Blazers 107–98, snapping a rough patch.
AD took charge, dropping 30 points, grabbing 11 rebounds, and swatting five shots. Meanwhile, Bronny James made his mark with a clutch block in the final two minutes, showing he’s ready when called upon.

Well, Bronny’s first year around the NBA has been pretty bumpy so far. People have been questioning his capabilities and wondering if he’s here because he’s LeBron’s son.
However, the rookie hasn’t let himself be fazed out by anything. Instead, he’s accepting the adorable rookie treatment from his senior and finding ways to improve himself.
