LeBron and Savannah James have a love story that dates back more than two decades, before LeBron entered the NBA and eventually became its greatest-ever scorer.
The high school sweethearts finally wed in 2013 and have three children together: Bronny, Bryce, and daughter Zhuri.
Not many could have predicted though that LeBron, at 39 years old, would continue playing at a high level for the Los Angeles Lakers.
The King maintains a grueling schedule amid his goal to play all 82 games this season as he chases a fifth NBA title, and this has given Savannah the freedom to start a podcast with her friends, “Everybody’s Crazy“, and develop her own media empire next to her husband.
Savannah’s love language is difficult to achieve
On the newest episode of “Everybody’s Crazy” published on Tuesday, Savannah revealed that spending “quality time” with LeBron is the #1 way to reach her heart — although, during an NBA season, it’s not always easy.
“My love language is also quality time,” Savannah said. “And I think that it just depends on the mood.
Like, I’m totally okay spending time in the house on the couch, snuggled up watching TV. I mean we can get into a series and binge it. We can watch movies, we can watch scary movies. Or we can get dressed and go out.”
As Savannah’s children grow up and LeBron’s career begins to wind down, quality time with her family will become more important and more achievable.
With Bronny now on an NBA roster, Bryce getting ready to make the leap to college basketball, and Zhuri standing out on the volleyball court at the tender age of 10, attending their games and offering them precious support are always the top action items for LeBron and Savannah — whose relationship is strong enough to withstand practically anything, even LeBron’s 22nd season in the NBA.
