Savannah James In Awe With Millions More as 10-Year-Old Zhuri Takes LeBron’s Legacy Across Sports

Last year, we saw LeBron James attending one of Zhuri’s volleyball sessions as the Lakers icon cheered on his 10-year-old daughter. Unlike her brothers, Bryce and Bronny, Zhuri has swayed away from basketball to carve her own path. But this doesn’t mean she is leaving her father’s legacy behind. In fact, she is honoring it in her own way and taking it to a different sport.

The Lakers star relishes being a girl dad and even revealed that Zhuri “runs everything” and “What Z says goes in our household, for sure.” Hence, when Zhuri did a solo and team photoshoot wearing her new volleyball gear, James was excited to share these photos on his Instagram.

Zhuri was donning the number 6 jersey in her volleyball uniform, paying homage to her father. LBJ wore that number with the Miami Heat and for a brief period during his Lakers tenure. In 2021, James talked about his youngest child and how she has a positive influence on him. “My daughter is the greatest thing in my life, along with my boy. So, whenever she smiles, it don’t matter what I’m doing, it makes me happy,” he told Access Hollywood. Notably, Zhuri was in attendance when LeBron James hit the 40,000 points mark in his career.

Speaking after the game, he said, “When I looked up there in the stands and seen her sitting up there,” he gushed. “When the 40,000 point mark hit, definitely looked up there at my wife and looked at my daughter and my mom, and my daughter was just clapping, and pumping her arms up in the air. Meanwhile, Savannah James could not hold back her excitement either and shared the post about Bron’s proud girl dad moment on her IG story, showing her support. Savannah, herself an athlete back in the day looks keen to back her daughter’s career choice in a family filled with basketball talent.

Just like Savannah, the entire NBA World was excited to find out that Zhuri was going to wear number 6 on her volleyball team. One netizen claimed the nod to LBJ was a pure sign of flex by the ten-year-old, “‘Yes, my dad is LeBron James’ pure flex.” When you are the daughter of arguably the greatest player ever, it comes with a lot of hype and Zhuri will look to deliver on the expectations.
