Instead of focusing on grand gestures or Instagram-worthy moments, Savannah dived into what makes a relationship tick. It’s the simple things, like taking time to celebrate each other, that can make all the difference. Here’s the kicker: Savannah’s take on love and marriage could be a game-changer for the 62.18 million couples in America, helping them dodge the all-too-familiar heartbreak of divorce. According to the CDC, there were 673,989 divorces and annulments last year, which breaks down to about 2.4 divorces per 1,000 people.
But Savannah’s advice? It’s not some complicated formula. For couples struggling through tough times, this kind of down-to-earth wisdom might be the key to keeping the spark alive and avoiding that dark path.
Savannah believes that no occasion is too small and everyone should celebrate everything.”Even if it’s just, you know, going to dinner or a movie. Even if it’s just acknowledgment of a card exchange or some flowers, whatever it doesn’t have to be a grand gesture, but there should be some level of, um, You know, something happening,” Savannah said.
This advice doesn’t only apply to married people. “Like we’ve come this far together. Like, regardless of, if you’re married or not, I think it should be celebrated,” she added. If anyone knows how to keep their marriage together, it’s her and the King. After all, they’ve been together for two decades now!

Savannah’s made countless sacrifices to support LeBron’s career—everything from managing their home to handling his business projects. Behind every game LeBron plays, Savannah makes sure their kids are taken care of and the family’s needs are met. So when she talks about relationships, you know she speaks from experience.
Savannah James didn’t hold back when it came to celebrating her son, Bronny’s big night. After a month-long injury layoff, he made his much-anticipated return with the South Bay Lakers and delivered a career-high 16 points in their 119-111 win over the San Diego Clippers.
She shared a post on her story on Instagram. The post was by overtime, which had Bronny’s stats posted along with overlaid text that read “Bronny James career high *fire emoji*”.
Bronny hit the ground running, scoring 10 of those 16 points in the first half. He finished the game with 6 of 15 from the field, keeping his approach simple: attack the rim and stay aggressive. It clearly paid off.
For Savannah, seeing Bronny bounce back after a tough stretch must have been a tremendous relief. After struggling early in his NBA career, his G League performances hadn’t been much better. So, to watch him find his groove again, especially after the long injury break, was a big moment for the whole family.
You can bet LeBron was celebrating too. It’s a big win for Bronny, and you can tell this one meant a lot to his parents. After all, every step counts for the James family.
