Angel Reese has become a superstar in the WNBA
Reese suffered a fractured wrist during the 2024 WNBA season, but has recovered enough to return to the practice court.
The six-foot-three power forward dominated the boards in her debut season with an average of 13.1 rebounds per game along with 13.6 points per game.
A noticeable weakness in her play has been her three-pointers with a shot percentage of just 18.8% due to making just three of 16 three-attempts.
Reese’s college career saw the 22-year-old go five-for-32 on three-pointers across the 116 games she played for Maryland and LSU.
It is a part of a game that she doesn’t use enough and needs to work on.
A trending video on X shows Reese practising her threes as she drains back-to-back shots.
The clip has been the subject of much discussion on X and generated a lot of noise.
One fan liked what they saw, writing, “Dat catch and shoot gone hit different 🔥”.

“Release need to be faster thats a easy strip for a defender she grindin tho,” another said.
However some fans were critical of the shooting form on display. One X user wrote “Why is no one working on her mechanics.. that’s not a good technique.. elbows up.”
Such discussion seems to have not dented Reese’s confidence as she continues to be vocal on her platforms.
The 22-year-old took to social media to seemingly dismiss any criticism.
“The biggest flex I’ll ever have is I’m favoured by God,” Reese posted on her Instagram story.
“It doesn’t matter if you think I don’t deserve it. God gave it to me anyway.”
Reese has also addressed her critics on X, posting: “Do you realize I got drafted 7th in my class while “missing layups” as a ROOKIE shooting 39% on the year & was STILL a [sic] all star and that was the worst you’ll ever see me??? or you just laid up with your dog at home hating Adam??”
Reese will soon have any opportunity to put her basketball talent on display as she takes part in the Unrivalled 3×3 basketball league.
The Miami-based competition is set to tip-off in January with co-founder and recent WNBA champion Breanna Stewart among the stars taking part.
But Reese’s long-time foe Caitlin Clark has ruled herself out as she looks to enjoy a hard-earned break.
