Reese, a sensation on and off the court
Fresh off a month-long break from the WNBA for the Olympics, Reese returned to the court in style and confidence, playing to the cameras in a black crop top paired with a short skirt that showed off her athletic physique.
But it wasn’t just her fashion choices that had fans talking – Reese also had a significant impact on the game.
The Chicago Sky staged a thrilling comeback in the final quarter to defeat the Sparks 90-86.
Lindsay Allen led the charge with 16 points, while fellow rookie Kamilla Cardoso contributed a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds.
The Sky went on to beat the beleaguered last-place Sparks 90-86, with Reese having her usual double-double with 14 points, 11 rebounds. As fans still await her 1990s-inspired “apple bottom jeans” outfit, Reese has continued to be on fire with her WNBA pregame tunnel wardrobe.
After the victory, it was all hugs from the Sky rookie sensation, including NBA Dallas Mavericks star Kyrie Irving and his daughter.
Reese added to the team’s success with 14 points and 11 rebounds, cementing her role as an emerging star.
The Sky trailed 74-64 after three quarters, but rebounded in the fourth, scoring 15 of the first 17 points, including six from Cardoso, to take the lead.
A three-pointer by Los Angeles’ Stephanie Talbot briefly tied the game at 79-79, but a decisive free throw by Reese sealed the win for Chicago.
Reese’s performance, both on and off the court, continues to captivate fans as she proves she’s not just a rookie to watch – she’s a force to be reckoned with in the WNBA.
