The Chicago Sky star will invite one of the USA’s biggest rappers to the show as a guest
Angel Reese has caused a stir amongst her fans after revealing she will invite the American rapper, GloRilla, to her Unapologetically Angel podcast as the 22-year-old Chicago Sky star’s show continues to take off in the WNBA offseason.
The show hit soundwaves in September after the Sky’s campaign came to an end and has enjoyed a rapid growth under the guidance of the basketball ace and Maya Reese, the interim host, through the opening six episodes.
Now the seventh episode, which will drop on Thursday, October 17, is arguably the most anticipated one yet with the appearance of GloRilla, whose Tomorrow 2 track has almost 175m streams on Spotify.
GloRilla, really called Gloria Hallelujah Woods, has 12m monthly listeners at the age of 25 and is one of the emerging rap stars who could compete with Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B and Nicki Minaj in the future.
“Ask GloRilla Anything,” Reese announced on Instagram, with a photo of the rap star calling for fans to comment their questions below.
One fan said via Instagram, “Damnn Angel gets everybody.”
A second added, “LFG. Angel got the new hottest podcast and she’s just getting started. Excited to hear from Glo.”
