WNBA star Angel Reese has revealed she feels scared when fans approach her at gas stations.

The Chicago Sky player shared a video that has been widely circulated on social media of her explaining her phobia after spotting a fan going up to her car.

‘See, this why I don’t like going to the gas station ’cause people always rolling up on my car,’ the 22-year-old said, before politely accepting a picture request.

After the fan, who is unseen in the video but can be heard getting excited at meeting Reese, walks away, the basketball star goes back to speaking to the camera to explain why it makes her uncomfortable.

‘That was a little scary, that’s why I was like ‘mhmm sure,’ because at first, I don’t know.

‘When people get out of the car I be a little like (hesitant). Especially the world we living in right now. People get killed by the day.’

Reese captioned the footage: ‘I was a lil scared cause people be acting crazy when I am at the gas station.’

It comes after Reese mysteriously deleted her Instagram account on Wednesday.

She was getting criticized for the revealing New Year’s Eve outfit she had recently posted on the social media channel.

But she also been accused of deleting her page for publicity reasons, given she still has an active TikTok and X profile.

Her decision to take down her Instagram account coincided with her WNBA rival Caitlin Clark appearing on New Heights with Travis and Jason Kelce.

Conservative commentator Tomi Lahren made the link, saying: ‘I think she likes the attention, she enjoys the attention.

‘And I think any time Caitlin Clark gets attention, Angel Reese has be in the corner like, “Look at me, look at me!” And it’s going to be for whatever reason.

‘She wore that and she posted that so people would talk about her because she doesn’t want people talking about Caitlin Clark.’
