Angel Reese was once again at the M&T Bank Stadium supporting her home team Baltimore Ravens against the Washington Commanders. The Chicago Sky star cheered her home team, but she was especially there for Washington quarterback Jayden Daniels.
In her Ravens jersey, Reese posted a picture on her Instagram story with the Commanders quarterback’s mom, Regina Jackson. Below the picture, she captioned the post,
“I’m here for the Ravens of course but we are here for 5.”
Daniels’ mother also reposted the story on her Instagram handle and showed love to the WNBA star.
“Always for 5,” Jackson posted.
Jayden Daniels’s mom commented on Reese’s story
It’s not surprising to find Reese especially supporting the Washington rookie. Daniels and Reese both attended LSU. After playing for Arizona State from 2019 to 2021, Daniels attended LSU from 2022 to 2023, winning the Heisman Trophy last season. He was later drafted by the Commanders in April at No. 2.
Angel Reese attended LSU from 2022 to 2024 before being selected by the Chicago Sky in the WNBA draft in April. She won the NCAA championship in 2023.
They also had huge roles, along with Livvy Dunne and Flau’jae Johnson, in the six-part Prime Video docuseries “The Money Game” that focused on NIL stars at LSU.
This is the third time that Reese has attended an NFL game and the second time she has attended a Ravens game. Previously, she wore a Chicago Bears jersey to a Bears game.
Angel Reese chose her side before the Commanders vs. Ravens game
Angel Reese is using her first WNBA offseason supporting her favorite NFL teams. In September, Reese attended her first NFL game of the season.
The Ravens, who were 1-2 entering the game, blew out the Buffalo Bills 35-10. They won their next game against the Cincinnati Bengals 41-38 in overtime on Oct. 6.
Reese took another trip to her hometown and helped her team continue the winning streak, with Baltimore beating the Commanders 30-23 on Sunday to push its winning streak to four.
Before she left for the game, Reese posted a picture in a customized Ravens jersey on her IG story. Accessorizing her jersey with black-frame eyeglasses and a necklace, Reese chose Baltimore.
“You know I am rocking with the hometeam today,” she wrote.
Reese’s IG Story
Reese continues to be in the limelight despite the ongoing WNBA Finals, while her team did not even make the playoffs. She broke multiple WNBA records during the season.
She is recovering from a wrist injury surgery. It will be interesting to see if she can change the Sky’s fate next season with Chicago coach Teresa Weatherspoon being fired.
